Sports Bra Giveaway

I have a serious obsession with sports bras. I own more than 20 and yet I always find myself browsing the athletic clothing sections of stores looking for sports bras in cute colors or new designs.

I recently tried a new sports bra sent to me to review by Breeze Comfort.

Breeze Comfort Sports Bra

Sports Bra Back

According to the Breeze Comfort website, their sports bras “keep you cooler and drier so you can work out harder.”

I wore the sports bra on a 6.25 mile run with Sadie and definitely felt like it kept the sweat off my body. I liked how the bra had a light lining since many other sports bras can be thin, requiring me to wear two to feel like I’m not on display. The bra was also cut in a way that was more feminine than many other sports bras out there. Yay for no uni-boobs! 😀

Enough of my review, now you have a chance to try one out for yourself!

One person will win a Breeze Comfort sports bra of their choice.

To enter the giveaway, simply comment on this post telling me what you look for in a good sports bra.

You may also receive additional entries by:

(Be sure to comment on this post to let me know if you followed Breeze Comfort on Facebook or Twitter so I may count your extra entries!)

If you don’t win the giveaway, don’t worry! The pink/black mountain view sports bra that I received is on sale on the Breeze Comfort website through April 30 for $29.99.

I will select a winner randomly tomorrow morning. Good luck!!!

Breakfast Bagelwich + Giveaway!

This post is chock-full of FUN STUFF!

First, your regularly scheduled morning blogging… 🙂

Workout

Today’s workout was very entertaining. I didn’t get bored once, which is a little rare for 50 minutes of straight cardio.

I started my workout on the treadmill with 35 minutes of incline walking and running… All mixed up!

35 minute alternate incline walking + running workout:

35 Minute Incline Walking/Running Workout

After treadmill time, I hopped on the elliptical with Real Simple magazine and cranked out another 15 minutes of light cardio.

Breakfast

Last night Alternative Bagels were buy one get one free at the grocery store, so I snagged two bags of ’em!

I love the sweet wheat bagels. They’re the perfect size and have only 110 calories with 7 grams of filling fiber. Not too shabby for a bagel, huh?

I topped my toasted bagel with Justin’s maple almond butter and sliced strawberries for a yummy breakfast bagelwich.

Justin's Maple Almond Butter

(Half of this pack went directly into my mouth and didn’t quite make it on top of the bagel. 😉 )

Tuesday's Breakfast

It was deeeelish!

I was a lucky little blogger and won my first giveaway ever when Lisa hosted a giveaway for a credit to CSN Stores. (See, it is possible to win a giveaway!)

After browsing their site (they literally have everything from barstools to kitchen appliances) I used my credit toward a new vacuum.

EarthGrains Giveaway & Healthified Brownie Batter

Giveaway fun in un momento, but first, breakfast!

Breakfast

I am officially addicted to my big bowl of chocolate goodness.

Cocoa Breakfast Bowl

If you love chocolate and have a sweet tooth that kicks in first thing in the morning, you should give this breakfast a try!

  • 1/4 c. dry Flax-Z-Snax chocolate cream hot cereal (I buy this at Netrition.com)
  • 1 scoop All the Whey chocolate peanut butter cup protein powder (I buy this at Nutraplanet.com)
  • 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • Water

I mix everything together before heating the mixture in the microwave for about a minute, stirring it up and heating it again for another 20 seconds or so. It “grows” in the microwave and becomes really thick. It really does taste like “healthified” brownie batter.

Wednesday's Breakfast

Ryan tried it this weekend and gave it a thumbs up, but said it was a little too chocolatey for him first thing in the morning (Ha! Too chocolatey… What is that?). Nothing is ever too chocolatey for me… at any time of the day.

EarthGrains Giveaway

Are you a bread lover like me? If so, than this is the giveaway for you!

I was contacted by EarthGrains and informed of the company’s new product and initiative to “plot to save the earth, one field at a time,” by introducing Eco-Grain wheat into its 100% whole grain, 100% natural line of breads.

A winner will be selected randomly and announced tomorrow morning. Good luck!

Where’s Waldo?

Where’s Waldo Sadie?

In Here?

Could she, once again, be hiding from the cold under a big, thick quilt?

"What's the Big Idea!?"

Peek-a-boo!

Clearly this dog takes after her mama and is a big baby when the weather is even slightly chilly.

For the past two weeks, after our morning walk, Sadie has run inside and dug herself a little cocoon to hide under until her nose and ears return to a normal temperature.

It’s still in the 30s outside but oddly enough it didn’t feel nearly as cold today. Maybe I’m actually adjusting?

Since I (surprisingly) wasn’t chilled to the bone, I decided to enjoy a cold breakfast.

Wednesday's Breakfast

My breakfast included strawberry Chobani Greek yogurt, Emerald cocoa roast almonds and a tangerine.

The strawberry Chobani Greek yogurt is my favorite Chobani flavor… but oddly enough I prefer just the yogurt part with a slight strawberry flavor without all the goopy strawberry stuff on the bottom stirred in (I still stir it in though 😉 ).

Progresso Giveaway

Don’t forget to enter my giveaway by this evening for a chance to win a Progresso prize pack!

Progresso Prize Pack

All you have to do is make a comment on this post telling me what kind of soup is your favorite! 🙂

Souper Package and Giveaway

When I walked in to my apartment after work today, Ryan informed me that I had one heck of a heavy package waiting for me.

I opened it to find about a billion different kinds of Progresso soup… all with less than 100 calories per serving.

Yay for Packages!

Sadie was also souper excited about this package and made a mess of helped me sort through the packaging.

Sadie Wanted In

Ryan immediately went to work building a beeramid soupamid of all the cans of soup.

Soupamid

(I can’t wait to try the Manhattan clam chowder!)

Dog Park Fun

Since Sadie was a little too enthusiastic about the bubble wrap in the soup package, Ryan and I knew she needed some extra exercise tonight, so we leashed her up for a trip to the dog park.

"Best Ball Everrrr!"

Dog Park Smiles

Sadie was quite the daddy’s girl today and played several rounds of fetch with Ryan.

The Stand Off

"C'mon, Dad... Throw it!

Gotcha!

Though the ball-throwing was quite intense, another dog was the real source of excitement at the park today…

Wolf Dog

Yes, that would be a wolf dog. The wolf dog’s owner said she’s 80 percent wolf. She had yellow eyes and even started howling when a fire truck went by and the sirens were blaring. (I wonder if she is a member of the Quileute tribe??? Twilight nerd alert. ;))

Mongolian Beef Dinner

Eventually our bellies told us it was time to head home for dinner. While Ryan did the dishes, I got to work making Mongolian beef using a recipe I tore out of the December 2009 issue of Cooking Light.

Mongolian Beef a la Cooking Light

Mongolian Beef Recipe

(Mama, I finally got to use that hoisin sauce I stole from you! :D)

The sauce was really easy to make and the entire dinner came together in less than 20 minutes.

Beefy!

We topped steamed fresh broccoli with the beef mixture and it was deeeeelish!

My Bowl

Ryan said he thought this recipe would be great with shrimp as well and I totally agree. I see Mongolian shrimp in our future!

Dessert

Do I even have to say what I had for dessert tonight?

JELLO MOUSSE CUP! Yes, the love affair continues…

Even Sadie is affected:
