Fuzzy Pasta

Gross post title, huh?

Fortunately my lunchtime pasta wasn’t actually fuzzy, but the picture of it sure is. Grrr, camera.

Pasta Lunch

Someone at work borrowed my camera and now the settings are all off. I’ll be playing around with it this weekend to get it back in action. Fortunately I have an amazing DSLR camera at home that Ryan’s mom has been letting me borrow for the past month or so. (In case you’ve noticed, this explains why my dinner photographs are much prettier than my daytime snap shots.) Why-oh-why can’t DSLR cameras be $30? 😦

Aside from the cruddy picture, my lunch was quite delicious! I enjoyed Carba Nada egg fettuccine noodles topped with marinara and spinach.

Movember + Moustache

Today is quite the unusual day in my office. All the men have been growing facial hair for more than a month now in honor of Movember (moustache + November), a charity raising money for men’s health.

Today is the day they’ve taken the razor to their beards to fashion outrageous moustaches, goatees, etc. It’s quite the site and it’s very hard to take anyone serious today.

After work we’re all going to happy hour to celebrate the end of Movember. The women even have some adhesive moustaches to adorn for the evening. I selected the “grandpa” moustache since it was gray and best matched my blonde hair.

Do you like men with or without facial hair?

I like Ryan with a little stubble. I think it’s so cute! I asked him about the light stubble look for our wedding and unfortunately I think it’s a no-go. Oh well. I’m sure that in 20 years I’ll probably appreciate a clean-shaven groom in our wedding pictures. 🙂

  1. Without – I like my men clean cut 🙂

  2. It depends on the guy, some guys look so good with stubble others not so much!

  3. Without! Peter had a goatee when we met…but it lasted all of one year. Hehe. Although some stubble is sexy too.

And your office CRACKS me UP! LOL Please get pictures of you as a grandpa. 😉

  4. I love my hubby fuzzy! He’s so good looking with his facial hair. I beg him to keep it but it annoys his skin so he shaves it off periodically.

  5. I was just about to say “without facial hair” but realized that my husband has a goatee. He’s not allowed to grow a moustache though – it makes him look like he should play in a mariachi band….

I make him keep the goatee because he has no chin. And he looks about 12 without it.

This whole comment makes me sound so controlling! Let me tell you one of his “rules”. I’m not allowed to cut more than 2 inches off my hair. Compromises!

  6. Andrew is very self-conscious about his chin – he thinks he has a double chin (for the record, he doesn’t, haha). So he keeps a little chin hair all the time, but I beg him all the time to shave it off. I like him clean shaven most of the time, but a little stubble on the weekends is quite sexy!

  7. The pasta still looks great.

  8. Sounds like a fun day LOL! I like no facial hair. My hubs is one of the lucky guys who could not shave for a week and you barely notice.

  9. I like some facial hair! Sean can be a grizzly man! Usually in the summer he keeps it short, just a lil five o clock shadow…but in the winter, he’s got a light beard. I think its sexy! But, no moustache or goatee please.!

  10. I have a recipe for you…peanut butter & jelly muffins!!

I hope you try them and I hope you like!!

Oh…and I think a little stubble on my husband is sexy!!

  11. I also like a little stubble 😉

  12. Stubble is cute! It depends on the dude..lol
